I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University. I began my career in Momence, Illinois, where I taught first and second grade. After several years of teaching in the Joliet and the Peoria Diocese, I decided to continue my education and pursue a career in the travel industry. After completion of my coursework, I was employed by United Airlines and Five Star Travel in Libertyville. My love for travel still remains today. My strong desire to educate brought me back into the classroom where I held teaching positions in the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey and finally back home in the Archdiocese of Chicago. I taught at Immaculate Conception in Waukegan and have been on staff at St. Patrick’s since 2005. My husband Eric and I have been active members of St. Patrick’s since 1996 and reside in Wadsworth with our daughters; Bridget, Maggie, Nora (all graduates of St. Pat’s) and our pets; Guinness and Bailey. I am excited and feel blessed to be the Jr. High religion teacher. I am looking forward to preparing the students for the Sacrament of Confirmation and being a part of their Faith journey.
